Weddle and Sons’s third core value is integrity. Marked by a pillar on every document displaying our values, integrity drives our team to be open and honest with all people. We do not conceal any part of our work process, we avoid cutting corners, and we do what we say we will. Our team members place high expectations on each other to keep our word and fulfill what we have promised on time and in the right way...
One of our core values at Weddle and Sons is responsibility. Because of this, our team holds each other accountable for excellent work and high standards on every project. We remind each other frequently of the importance of taking ownership for our work. Great responsibility not only helps our company succeed, with many reliable hands on deck, but it benefits our clients as well...
Companies have values, just like roofs have shingles. Some companies haven’t stated them, but their values are seen in the way they handle their business, good or bad. Other companies have core values, but lack the application that makes them important. At Weddle and Sons, our core values are vital, and we want everything we do to be branded by their impact. Because of this, we think that our five core values each deserve a little highlight, starting with commitment to our clients.
Some things are unavoidable in the spring and summer months: warmer temperatures, lots of sunshine, high winds, and heavy rains. Consequently, roofs may develop leaks, shingles might blow off, and - after a winter of freezing temperatures - you may want to have your roof inspected to ensure peace of mind.
At Weddle and Sons, we look forward to responding to your request for service! Some companies only want to do installations and full roofing projects, but we understand that a little TLC can extend the life of your roof. Our service team spent time this past winter evaluating our work in 2016 and identifying areas where we could improve. Here are a few improvements our service team has made:
We’re pretty sure that there are people in the world who have things worth saying that we’ll never have the chance to hear in person. That’s why we’re thankful for books. At the end of last year, Weddle and Sons decided to take advantage of some of the published wisdom in the world, so naturally, we started a winter book club. (Not where you thought your neighborhood roofers would be before work on Wednesday mornings, is it?!) Our book club was a great way to help our team grow and develop both personally and professionally, and we enjoyed having conversations about things other than roofs!
There’s been a lot of excitement buzzing through the office the last few days in preparation for the Flint Hills Home Show today and tomorrow. We love being in a place with so many other community members who want to help you improve your home. The Home Show is a great community event with a kids play area, food, prizes and giveaways. You can stop by our booth for free coffee, candy, and the chance to win some Manhattan Chamber Bucks. Just look for the rather large roof amongst everything else!
