Privacy Policy — Weddle Data Platform

Privacy Policy

Weddle Data Platform · Effective June 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Weddle and Sons, Inc., together with its affiliate Weddle Professional Roofing, LLC (collectively, “Weddle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the Weddle Data Platform (the “Application”), an internal business application used by Weddle’s authorized personnel to manage operations including inventory, accounting, and related workflows.

The Application is operated by Weddle for its own internal business use. It is not offered to the general public and is not a consumer-facing product.

1. Information We Access

To provide its functionality, the Application integrates with third-party services that Weddle uses to run its business, including Intuit QuickBooks Online. When connected to QuickBooks Online with your authorization, the Application may access and use accounting data such as:

  • Company information and chart of accounts;
  • Customers and jobs/sub-customers;
  • Classes and other tracking categories;
  • Journal entries, invoices, and related transaction records that the Application reads or creates for bookkeeping purposes.

The Application also processes Weddle’s own internal business data (for example, inventory counts, vendor and purchase records, and operational metrics) and limited identity information about authorized users (such as work email address) for authentication and access control.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information solely to operate Weddle’s internal business processes, including to:

  • Record inventory consumption and post or prepare related journal entries to QuickBooks Online;
  • Read accounts, customers/jobs, and classes to correctly classify accounting transactions;
  • Generate internal reports and operational dashboards;
  • Authenticate users and maintain the security and integrity of the Application.

We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data or other information with third parties for advertising or marketing, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to operating Weddle’s business.

3. How We Store and Protect Information

The Application is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest;
  • Authentication through Microsoft Entra ID, with access limited to authorized Weddle personnel;
  • Storage of integration credentials and access tokens in a managed secret store (Azure Key Vault);
  • Least-privilege access scoping for third-party integrations such as QuickBooks Online.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only with the service providers that host or power the Application (for example, Microsoft Azure) and the third-party platforms Weddle authorizes the Application to connect to (for example, Intuit QuickBooks Online), and only as needed to provide the Application’s functionality. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the Application and meet Weddle’s legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

6. Your Choices

Because the Application is an internal tool, access is managed by Weddle. An authorized administrator may disconnect the QuickBooks Online connection at any time through the Application or the Intuit account settings, which revokes the Application’s access to QuickBooks data going forward.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Application is an internal business tool and is not directed to or intended for use by children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date above.
